1. What have you accomplished?
- Our accomplishments include: a turned in letter of request, first experience of a read aloud, and engagement with the kids.
2. What has gone wrong?
3. What challenges have you faced?
4. What have you learned through the process?
5. How have your skills improved over the past week?
6. Are you on track for an on-time delivery?
7. What adjustments need to be made on the timeline?
8. My next action is….
- We went to the library on Saturday, March 11, and we didn't have activities prepared so we couldn't do much with the kids except color and read to them.
3. What challenges have you faced?
- Transportation is still a problem. I had to ride taxi to the library and back home because there was no one I could ride with. Engaging with the kids is also a challenge due to the fact that they lose interest quickly. So you always have to keep them occupied.
4. What have you learned through the process?
- I learned that kids are very talkative. I also learned that we can't expect to have a certain amount of kids each Saturday because it varies every week. We can either have a lot or a little of the kids coming in.
5. How have your skills improved over the past week?
- I know how to engage with little kids better. I found out that you should never be boring during a read aloud or the kids will not pay attention. You always have to pause and ask questions during the story.
6. Are you on track for an on-time delivery?
- We are still partially on track for the on-time delivery because we got to the library on time even if we had transportation problems. However, we didn't have activities prepared for the kids.
7. What adjustments need to be made on the timeline?
- We need to remove the part where we said we were going to put up flyers because we have no time for that.
8. My next action is….
- My group and I are going to make activities and start preparing supplies for the arts and crafts activity we're going to do.
